Michael Epstein founded Untravel Media based on graduate research he did on mobile storytelling techniques, audiences and technologies at MIT.  The results of this research developed into a  Untravel, a diverse studio of developers, designers, writers, and producers based in Boston and San Francisco, focusing on location-based mobile applications for the film and museum industries.  In the past 5 years Untravel has produced storytelling applications for MTV, PBS, Adobe, and the National Endowment for the Humanities, garnering the 2010 AAM Muse Award and the Best New Media Prize at the 2010 Boston International Film Festival.  See:  www.untravelmedia.com.
