Born and raised in Jersey Village, Texas, Robbie Pickering graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has written and directed several award-winning short films and commercials. His debut feature, NATURAL SELECTION, won seven awards at the 2011 South by Southwest Film Festival, including the Grand Jury Prize, the Audience Award, Best Screenwriting, and two Breakthrough Performance Awards.  It is currently screening in film festivals around the world and will be in theaters this fall.  In addition to his directing work, he has written scripts for Warner Brothers, Paramount, and Twentieth Century Fox.  He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
