Karin Gutman

Karin Gutman has been working closely with writers for 10 years helping them to uncover, develop and write their life-based stories. As co-executive producer of Spark Off Rose, the popular spoken word series in Santa Monica, she cultivates fresh, new voices and often works with deeply personal material. She has taught at UCLA Extension Writers’ Program, and currently offers on-going writing workshops in the LA area and coaches writers privately. In addition to being a published author and former story analyst for CAA and 20th Century Fox, Karin has created and written projects for the Jim Henson Company, Nickelodeon, and National Geographic Kids. She is an M.F.A. candidate in Screenwriting at California State University Fullerton.  For more information, visit: www.spiritofstory.com.
