On Screen
Stephanie hit the ground running when she moved to L.A. booking her first guest star spot on the TV show Undeclared, created by Judd Apatow. Next she landed a lead in the independent film, Raising Flagg, with Alan Arkin, followed by her first series regular role in a TV pilot called “The Funkhousers” (on ABC). Every pilot season thereafter proved equally successful– with Stephanie booking 11 pilots in 9 years, including 9 series regular roles in 4 ABC comedies and 1 drama, 3 FOX comedies, a CBS comedy, and 1 Sci-Fi drama, Anonymous Rex, which aired as a movie of the week. In 2009 and 10, she also did recurring roles on drama pilots in second position. And she made sure to keep busy in between, guest-starring on popular shows through-out the years like Malcolm in the Middle (FOX), CSI: Las Vegas (CBS), Rules of Engagement (CBS), 90210 (CW), and The Ghost Whisperer (ABC).

In 2007, Stephanie began doing voice-overs. After several commercials, she crossed over into animated features as a snow leopard named Mei Ling in Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Furious Five. This was a dream come true for Stephanie, who loves all kids movies, and hopes to write and produce some of her own one day. In 2010, she joined the animated series Young Justice as the teen superhero, Artemis.

In addition, Stephanie is also quite active in the independent film scene– acting, writing, and producing films with the production company, In-Motion Pictures, alongside her husband, A.J. Off Screen
Off-screen, Stephanie is very involved in community service, volunteering since 2002 with the Los Angeles-based group Free Arts for Abused Children. In 2004, Stephanie also began writing children’s books for an after-school project called Camp MakeBelieve Kids, based out of Nevada. In May 2006, Stephanie went to New Orleans to volunteer with Emergency Communities in St. Bernard’s Parish. The experience was as inspiring as it was depressing. While in Louisiana, Stephanie “accidentally” rescued a dog she named Stanley (for the NHL Stanley Cup— because he’s a champion!) Today, Stan lives happily in L.A. with his big brother, Brucely (another rescue, from the L.A. pound) and of course, Stephanie & A.J.  In 2008, Stephanie started volunteering most frequently with the Los Angeles based chapter of the Best Friends Animal Society doing mobile adoptions for rescued pets. She encourages everyone to get out and volunteer as often as possible. Only good and more good comes out of it!
